Geotextiles

Geotextiles are permeable technical textiles made from synthetic fibers. They are used in civil infrastructure, environmental applications, and landscape architecture. Their role is to separate, filter, and protect soil, improve drainage, and provide reinforcement. Durable and resistant to naturally occurring soil acids, geotextiles offer a lifespan that exceeds that of the structures they protect.

900 Series

This series includes a set of geotextiles whose physical, mechanical, and hydraulic properties optimize protection and drainage functions. These geotextiles are commonly used in environmental applications as well as civil and municipal infrastructure.

Applications: protection against geomembrane puncture and erosion control on dikes and embankments with riprap.

MTQ – BNQ 7009-210 certified models: 912 (P2) et 918 (P3)

E Series

The Texel E Series includes needle-punched nonwoven geotextile products whose physical, mechanical, and hydraulic properties optimize protection and drainage functions. These geotextiles are widely used in environmental works, particularly for geomembrane protection, as well as for stabilizing slopes, dykes, and embankments. In containment applications, the properties of the Texel E Series allow them to replace sand and act as a local stress-reduction layer, preventing or minimizing potential damage to adjacent material layers.

Applications: protection against geomembrane puncture and erosion control on dikes and embankments with riprap.

Géotextiles de renforcement

Reinforcement Geotextiles

Geo-9 Series

Geocomposites combining the properties of woven and nonwoven geotextiles to provide optimal performance in reinforcement, separation, filtration, and drainage. Their versatility makes them an excellent solution for challenging site conditions in civil and municipal infrastructure.

Applications: reinforcement of soft and fine soils*.

MTQ-compliant and BNQ 7009-210 certified models: R1 grade and R2 grade*

GEO-9 R2: maximum filtration openings of 70 µm, for fine soils.

SX Series

The SX Series brings together several woven geotextiles manufactured using different production processes. These geotextiles are specifically designed to provide reinforcement and filtration beneath structures that must withstand significant mechanical loads, and are often used in civil infrastructure applications as well as landscape architecture and horticulture.

Applications: limiting rutting, behind retaining walls, weed control in flower beds, residential driveways, pedestrian circulation areas in plant production sites.

Géotextiles environnementaux

Environmental Geotextiles

Envirotex Series by MP Remedia

The Envirotex Series offers eco-friendly geocomposites capable of filtering and decontaminating runoff water. Thanks to their active microspheres, they degrade hydrocarbons and NH4 (Ammonium) and capture heavy metals, thereby protecting soils and groundwater.

Applications: green infrastructure, contaminated sites, and port or airport zones.

Filtex

Filtex is a filtration geotextile designed to reduce the risk of biological clogging in drainage systems used in domestic and industrial landfill sites. Its hydraulic properties—such as its large filtration opening—combined with the specific treatment applied to the fibers, prevent bacterial growth and long-term clogging of both the geotextile and the drain.

Applications: drainage systems in landfill sites.

Geo-Absorb

Texel’s Geo-Absorb is a product used for oil-absorption applications. This product is tested for the absorption of motor oil (10W30). The test results help guide users toward an informed choice for environmental protection, whether for controlling daily drips or preventing a spill.

Applications: protection against motor oil spills.

Compostex

When placed on a sloped surface, Compostex composting covers retain up to 100% of precipitation and snowmelt, thereby preventing excess moisture levels in active, maturing, and/or finished compost. By helping maintain optimal moisture levels, Compostex optimizes and accelerates the composting process and results in a higher-quality finished product. Made from high-quality UV-protected polypropylene fibers, this needle-punched nonwoven is fully permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Applications: composting.

Géotextiles d'horticulture et de paysagement

Horticulture And Landscaping Geotextiles

Géotextiles pour la curation du béton

Concrete Curing Geotextiles

Tex-Cure Series

Tex-Cure is a white absorbent fabric designed to ensure better-controlled curing of horizontal concrete surfaces such as bridge decks and overpasses. Using this product to cover such structures during the curing period results in a smoother, harder surface that is more resistant to water exposure and de-icing salts. The structure built in this way performs well under freeze–thaw cycles. Tex-Cure meets the requirements of MTQ Standard 3501.

Géotextiles pour les champs d'épuration

Geotextiles For Leach Fields

Geopure Series

Geopure is a needle-punched nonwoven geotextile specifically developed for use in the filter elements of septic systems (absorption or polishing fields) to provide separation between clean stone or sand and the natural soil surrounding the treatment system. Made from synthetic materials resistant to decomposition, Geopure offers mechanical strength and permeability better suited to this application than conventional blotting-paper solutions.

Géotextiles pour la détection de fuites

Leak Detection Geotextiles

Geoconduct

The Geoconduct range includes patented geotextiles that provide electrical conduction and mechanical protection through a conductive grid combined with one or more needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles. The characteristics of the geotextiles used are validated for each project according to the site’s mechanical constraints and the desired level of protection. Geoconduct can be installed beneath or between two geomembranes. When placed beneath a geomembrane, it eliminates dependence on the type of subgrade, while when installed between two geomembranes, it enables primary containment integrity testing without the need to flood the structure.
